Wilfrid Leroy Prost

Responsable du Département Voitures de collection emblématiques

Aged 5, Wilfrid encountered an old family member that had lain resting in a barn for some time. To his amazement, it was a Jaguar MKII his grandmother had purchased new from the Royal Elysée Paris in 1966. Following a lengthy restoration, the car was given a new lease of life, and at just 10, Wilfrid sat behind the wheel and drove his first iconic classic car. The experience marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for vintage cars, which continues today with his own 1965 Austin Cooper S MKI. In pursuing his career, Wilfrid studied architecture at the Paris School of Fine Art, and later at the IESA and the Ecole du Louvre, where he became an expert in classical art. For his final dissertation, he focused on classic cars as works of art and their attendant market value. In 2001, Wilfrid began working for Poulain Le Fur/Sotheby’s, who pioneered classic car auctions in Europe in 1973. This opened doors for him at other renowned auction houses, such as the Prost Grand Prix F1 archives and the Rolf Meyer collection. In 2003, he joined the Artcurial auction house as a specialist in the Motorcars Department and as a Director for Luxury Goods, Sport & Collection sales. During his eight-year tenure, the auction house sold more than 2,000 classic cars worldwide, making it the leading European auction house for classic cars and vehicles.

OLIVIER-PHILIPPE BODEAU

Responsable du Département Pièces d'horlogerie rares

Olivier has pursued a career on the international stage, driven by his quest for unparalleled customer service and reliability. He believes that these are the defining components for any business to flourish and thrive. He draws parallels from the intricate visions and manufacturing processes of design icons, such as the Porsche 911 – a legendary car that has withstood the test of time for over six decades – or the Submariner, Rolex’s diving watch which made its grand debut in 1953. Olivier recognises that such items have endured due to their superb craftsmanship, unwavering reliability, and enduring consistency, making them ideal for daily use, as well as heirlooms. Olivier’s own personal fascination with timepieces can be traced back to his younger years. Aged just 20, he purchased and painstakingly restored a vintage Rolex chronograph 2508 watch from 1941. The experience of seeing this prized possession, once thought lost, rejuvenated beyond his expectations was an enchanting moment. The experience spurred a newfound passion in him, compelling Olivier to commence collecting watches of varying rarity and value.
